My mother-in-law, Win, has been using the SHOP service for over 2 years now. As Win is no longer driving, she was finding it hard to do her shopping independently. Before Covid-19, she enjoyed her weekly trips to the supermarket with Joyce from Better Lives, who quickly became a real friend to Win.
During the nationwide lockdowns, Win has been house bound. As my husband and myself were key workers, Anna from Better Lives has been shopping for Win on a weekly basis.
It has been such a comfort being able to rely on SHOP to provide such an excellent service during such a difficult time. Val has been at the end of the phone whenever Win has needed anything. Nothing is ever too much trouble and what we really value is the warmth, humour and empathy from the team at Better Lives.
SHOP has been a lifesaver for us all!
