Pat McCarthy

Chief Executive Officer

Pat has over 20 years experience of working to support older people. She is passionate about fairness and social justice and the role this plays in ensuring people are able to remain in control of their lives.

After beginning her connection to the organisation as a volunteer in 1998, Pat has been instrumental in leading the changes and growth that we see today.

Sue McCarthy

TASK Engagement Officer

Sue was a key part of the creation of the TASK service in 2004 and continues to build relationships with traders whilst providing information and support to our callers.

Sue leads the TASK Advisory Board within Better Lives.

Jayne McLaren

Organisation Administrator

Jayne started as a volunteer and now supports the wider team as the Organisation Administrator. Jayne deals with most of our TASK enquiries on a day-to-day basis, dealing with trader and caller enquiries.

Anna

A Good Life Connector

As our Good Life Connector, Anna deals with our share of the project’s referrals. Anna specialises in supporting people to register with Property Pool to obtain suitable housing.
